CURRENT MISSION
Keep things interesting.
ABOUT ME
We are a married couple with one son (born July 2004). We've been together since we were teenagers and have travelled the world together visiting the USA, France, Spain, Czech Republic, India, Egypt, Jordan, Nigeria, Belgium and lots more.
We are a Christian family who live life with a sense of fun! Tunji is a laid back Architect and Omara is a crazy I.T Analyst. Our son is a weird and wonderful combination of both of us. He is very friendly and loves meeting new people. We want couchsurfing to be fun for him and would love to meet others with children too.
Originally from West Africa, we have lived in the UK since 1992 and consider ourselves Londoners.
PHILOSOPHY
We are practising Christians and try to live our lives by Christian principles - Love our neighbours as ourselves. The bible says the greatest commandment is to love. Our philosophy is to treat life as a gift and as with any gift, receive it graciously and enjoy it to the full.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We love to respond to queries on the forums and try to host when we can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We enjoy CouchSurfing both hosting and visiting other. We love the concept as we have used other sites to find interesting homes & people to visit on our travels. We love the informality, comfort and authenticity of seeing a new place through the eyes of a 'local'. We also enjoy sharing our home with family and friends (old and new).
Since joining Couch Surfers, we have had the pleasure of hosting some great people and looking forward to our next hosting experience. We get lots of requests and will respond to everyone but with regret can not accept them all.
Interests
Food is a big interest and we enjoy trying out different cuisines. We will always try something at least once. We love travelling and finding out about people, cultures and language. The Internet, Computers, Architecture, Art and the Environment are also keen interests.
