oh -because I've been asked- yes, my nickname is a german word which means "building site", nothing to do with an italian indie band of the same name (I like some of their music anyway but not as much as building sites).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

occasionally hosting, I am always up for a cup of coffee or a walk to show you around here. Same in surfing, occasionally doing it (depends on the reasons for travelling) and always up for hanging out.

sometimes I meet really amazing people and then it turns out they are also CSers; sometimes I meet CSers and it turns out they are also amazing people. Liking that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

outdoor geothermal baths in December in Iceland & Northern lights: pure energy!

slept on a pier waiting for a boat on Lofoten islands (in the summer)

volunteered at roskilde festival in 2005, 2006, and 2007 - the rainiest year in the history of the festival.

worked for the big internet company whose name starts with G. I am still recovering :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about woods to build guitars, obscure scandinavian, italian or irish bands, pro-audio techniques, solar physics and berlin urban development in the last 50 years. and I am always glad to learn on these and most other topics too.

I'd be happy to learn more about visual arts (from make up to VJ-ing :))
