ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ollie.

I'm a highschool Maths and Physics teacher from Melbourne Australia. I'm pretty passionate about education and I have a blog and podcast about teaching, you can check them both out at www.ollielovell.com/podcast :)

Travel is a big part of who I am too . In 2009 I spent 8 months travelling, hitchiking, and CouchSurfing around Europe and the experiences that I had there played a big part in developing me into the person that I am now (I was 18 then). 2010 (Dec) saw me start a 2 month trip through India that profoundly affected me, and in 2012 I went on a 6 month Uni exchange to Copenhagen which was also a wonderful experience. In 2014/15 I spent 2.5 months in China and Taiwan working on my Mandarin.

CouchSurfed Europe 2009 for 8 months! East coast of Australia for 1 month.
Surfed in India in 2010/11
I've hosted several times in Australia, which has been great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The far reaches of the world where people eat out of rubbish bins and live in tree houses.
All good!

I've hosted Germans, Scots, Canadians, and Yanks.
