DAVe and I's Burning Man trip was spectacular. The CS Camp made it very special. DAVe came away with more unique new friends in 10 days than I could have ever imagined. Cultural and personality diversity exploded around him like blooming flowers in a field and he had the opportunity to watch everyone work and team together. Burner parents don't be afraid to consider CS Camp for you Burn. It was wonderful for us.

Chris is joining us this year!!

Okay now the real details - - -
DAVe - is my youngest child and the last one at home. I am raising him in the greatest artistically bohemian heathen socially responsible manner possible. This year we spent 35 days Couchsurfing Europe, last year we Burned, Burner aka Burning Man, together. We do a great deal together but I also get a good deal of adult time. A brilliant mind in a small body. He absorbs everything and then masticates on it and quizzes to see results. (Yes that's the PC way of saying he says things to watch reactions.)

Shelle - I am energy, spontaneous, love to laugh, always ready for a new adventure and passionate about life! And I tend to laugh and smile a lot! DAVe is my shadow always wanting to join the party.

Chris - Welcome Chris to the fun that is us!! Chris is our music - gifted with a lovely voice - he brings new notes to our lives. Chris has traveled the world and ahs great adventures to share. We are excited to be sharing our adventures with him.

We tend to be omni curious, love people and to just have fun. Conversation over great food and drink are our favorite thing.

Lets have wine . . . tea . . . a beer and chat about life and the sights beyond sight!

DAVe shares my passion for living life in abundance. You'll often find us celebrating life with friends and acquaintances we have just met!

A stranger is most often just a friend we haven't met; yet!

My sons Dad suggested I REALLY stress I love an adventure and so does DAVe!

Ask me to experience something new and I am all in so the best way that I can passionately participate is to be asked and to allow me the opportunity to actively assist in creating the adventure not just participating at the point of completion.

I have a litany of skills and dexterous expertise since well I rarely sit still and gather experiences and adventures like any avid collector.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am an active member of the Sonoma County Couch Surfer's Group. Check out my photos! They are spectacular! Meet our local CS friends and family!

I share couch surfing most often with other Mom's. Our commonality is wishing our children to be exposed to as many unique perspectives, persons and ideas as we can; us laying our egos aside and acknowledging we can not be all things to our children and it takes a community, a village, to raise a well rounded whole child.

I have had people surfing my couch off and on for years some staying many months and many becoming familia.

We'd love to share experiences with other families with kids.

I have not surfed as many couches (and most are met friends and acquaintances) due to being mom and most times having my son with me.

Movies are not something I watch too often and if I had to say what I watch it's girly flicks; What Women Want, You've Got Mail; Under the Tuscan Sun etc.

Music I love. Pretty much as long as it's not demeaning I am pretty open to hearing it a bit.

I am a mom - life itself is a series of amazement's. I've raised 2 unique individuals and am raising the third. The first ones seemed easier.

I watched the man burn while running fire energy with gadget, a man who in a short time became my greatest Burning Man and beyond treasure.

JuPlaya 2009 - It changed me in ways I do not yet fully know. I am not who I was when I left.

Burning Man with DAVe was splendid but the greatest change I experienced was having to put a live person on fire out. It proved I could handle anything and still maintain my emotions. Yes, I cried later. Yes, Jean-Luc is fine.

I always have extra if you are new to the area; setting up house or just need to borrow while on visit; ask me and see what I might have and be willing to share.

I see no reason for things to sit unused. I'd rather give them to a friend than to collect material things that detract from life.
