About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Kick life's ass

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Philadelphia and then moved up to a small town in Northern New Hampshire called Twin Mountain. That's where I basically grew up and lived in a log cabin off a dirt road. After highs school I moved down to Philadelphia to go to college at Drexel University. Now I live in Northern Liberties and work outside of the city as a systems engineer.

I am big into sports, especially basketball. I'm a coffee drinker. I like metal. I know a few good spots in Philly to get a REAL beer and have been making my own beer for a few years now. I do some PC gaming when I can. I only speak English but certainly would be up for grabbing a cup of joe or a beer with anyone who was visiting Philly. And hey if you catch me at the right time I might have a batch of my home brew beer for you to give a try.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with respect for everyone around you until they give you a reason not to. Never make assumptions. Have strong morals and never give up. Think for yourself. Never say die! Age is just a number. Oh and I like these sayings :

"Take care of your body, and your body will take care of you"

"Use it, or lose it"

This sums up my thoughts up about Beer:

"Representatives from some major breweries are at a convention in Amsterdam. Sitting at a table in a local pub are representatives from Coors, Strohs, Budweiser, Miller, and Guinness.

A server comes to the table and asks each of the men what they would like to drink. The Coors rep says, "Give me a Coors Light." The Strohs rep drinks Strohs, and the Miller rep has an MGD. The Budweiser rep asks for a Bud Light, and finally the server asks the Guinness representative what he would like to drink.

"I'll have a Coke, please."

The other representatives look at him strangely.

"Wouldn't you like a Guinness?"

The Guinness rep replies, "Well, if you gentlemen aren't drinking beer, then I'm not going to either."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know Philly pretty well and live in northern liberties so I'd would love to be able to give someone a hand who is visiting by showing them around a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with someone in Madrid for coffee and ended up that we have lots in common.

Hosted Diego from Colombia for a night! We also hung out over July 4th weekend.

Had a lot of fun running around Philly with couch surfer Luke from Australia! We drank beers, played bball and watched the Flyers in the Stanley Cup.

I've met and hung out with some of the Philly CS crowd over the last year as well.

Tony Lo was pretty much my guide through Hong Kong for a couple months while I was there for work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Washington in shorts and a tshirt with 50 MPH winds and rain. Not fun at the time, pretty awesome looking back on it now.
