ABOUT ME

All about me... hmmmm. I'm an open minded country boy who loves to travel and meet new people. I enjoy long, in depth conversations, hanging out with friends in a conversation friendly atmosphere, having a few drinks, playing cards and other "table" games. I like a bit of auto work/repair, keeping a vegetable garden (!!!), fixing things, working with my hands. Giving and receiving Massage is Wonderful (I am a trained Massage Therapist). I enjoy cooking for others! I'm not the best cook in the world or anything, but I'm not bad. Hey, just ask... I'm a pretty open book ;.-)
**One thing that I like for people to know is that I'm gay. It's not who I am, but it is an important part of my life ;.-)**

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a surfer in many great homes and made so many great friends. Now I want to host as many people as I can. I live in a rural (country side) area, but I have a car and I'm willing to drive. I continue to send notice to all of my facebook and e-mail friends, and tell whoever will listen to me about this great project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few "couches" in my life before finding CS.org, and have had wonderful experiences with it. It a fabulous way to meet Real people and live the True culture of a place. (2000) Ireland was amazing for me and I feel bad for all of the tourists who only get to see the surface. ** From 2000 to Now, I've surfed many wonderful places and have had such Great experiences since then!!!**

Interests

Massage, Cards and "table" games, Vegie Gardening, Deep conversations, Sci-Fi books and movies, Working with my hands, wood working and refinishing, home remodeling ... goodness, we all have so many things that interest us... if you've read this far and think you might like me or want to get to know me better... ask away ;-.>

Music, Movies, and Books

Sci-fi, Drama, Comedy... Elton John, to Dolly Parton and Rebba McIntire to wow... so many types. I don't like LOUD music, have heard a few Raps that I like but it's not my thing...I love Sad, "soulful" Vocals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listened to my aunt tell my grandad, "It's ok to let go, Kenny. It's ok to die." Then me and my family being with him when he did.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can help you with your English (just don't expect me to Spell it Correctly!!!), show you how I like to cook, tell you what I know about gardening, a few basic things about auto care, teach you about Massage Therapy.
Learn: Language, and anything else you'd like to share with me.
