About Me

I love travelling and am on the road these days with my daughter Kosma (5), wanting her to get to know this special spirit of being in the here and now, surrounded by different languages, wonderful people and new places. This is my way of showing her the alternative to regular school; showing her the school of life.

We are both calm and friendly minds, we love joking and laughing, animals, gardening, playing the Ukulele, concerts and dancing. Exploring nature gives us energy, adventures make us feel alive. We love natural waters and usually jump in if possible - no matter the temperatures! ;)

We are easy going and a small hut made from clay with a simple bed on the ground makes us already very happy. Dry toilets, sleeping in hammocks, tents, under the night sky at the beach...when we feel safe and sheltered, we are happy.

I am working as a helping teacher (English and German) online while travelling and have a small “business” of creating shampoo bars back at home in Wuppertal. I am also a yoga teacher and love to work on organic farms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I love to dive directly into the culture which surrounds me and always prefer the more humane (= no money involved) way to the anonymous tourist landscapes :)

When at home I enjoy having the spirit of travellers around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Daniela: Giving birth to my daughter in a teepee tent, living without spending money for 1 year, meeting wonderful hitchhikers in Big Sur California, escaping Corona-Germany with a spontaneous flight to Andalucia..

Kosma: Playing in beautiful rivers, exploring the Caves of Nerja, meeting dog friends everywhere, searching avocados in the Bosque Humano..

Teach, Learn, Share

Daniela: some AcroYoga, wild outdoor kitchen (herbs and mushrooms), in the summer you can harvest in my garden in Wuppertal and we can play ukulele...?

And Kosma can show you how to really really enjoy being in any kind of water and how to observe the sweet little details in life. Furthermore she is a really tough trampoline jumper! ;)
