About Me

CURRENT MISSION

home. at last.

ABOUT ME

"Muchos anos despues, frente al peloton de fusilamiento, el coronel Aureliano Buendia habria de recordarse de aquella tarde remota donde su padre lo llevo a conocer el hielo."

PHILOSOPHY

"It's not what you do. It's the way that you do it."
Ok this is not philosophy, but a quote.
No philosophy, let philosophy to the books, I d say. I like to do what I do (work!) and of course, travel according to he direction of the winds. No metaphores, never done it? I'll teach! I love it.
I like Spinoza though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well for now I am kind of the bug that jumps into your couch. Buy hey that's not my fault, it is because I am not home at he moment. When I am, I gladly open a place in the floor in my room o anyone that longs for a chill in Sao Paulo!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well what does it mean? If couch surfing is couchsurfing well then I yet lack of them. But if you see couchsurfing as couch surfing then you can say that I've done it a lot. Well glance there on the countries I have been. No money for hotels baby, it was all couch surfing I swear.
The best: Come to Warsaw after 6 months of living in a Russian student dorm and find out that the place I was had hot water in the showers!!!!
The weirdest: Couch surfing at the benches on a park in Berlin, afer losing a plane...

Interests

Mainly everything conneced with arts.
Music (actually good music only), theatre, cinema, painting, museums (I am a museum rat!!)
Literature, specially Russian and Latin-American. Ok, lets not be fussy. All kinds of literature. Enjoying a Akhmatova good period.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok. Lots.
Movies: Anything with Meryl Streep or Al Pacino, Star Wars (can't help it! its too rooted in my soul)
Music: Enjoying a Bach wave.
Books: As I said, at he moment Akhmatova. But toujours: "The Catcher in the Rye" (Salinger) and "One hundred years of solitude" (Marquez)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimmed a subterranean river. (Petar, Brazil)
Slept in jail for not having a transit visa. (Brest, Belarus)
Walked the pine forests where Revin Costner shot Robin Hood! (Vilnius, Lithuania)
Was on the longest plane travel between Barcelona and London. (7 hours).

Teach, Learn, Share

Always keep your visas ATTACHED to your passport (if they're not glued on it) and, mos of all, leave you passport in a safe place specially if you are brazilian (like me). People do steal them. And the fact that it was stolen once does not mean it can't be by some destiny's law stolen the second time.... so...

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Ireland, Russian Federation
