About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To conquer the world... one friend at a time. Qué cursi que suena eso... pero es la verdad... jaja

ABOUT ME

Am I supposed to write about what I do for a living here? Well... if I could be a professional student I would...I love to learn about everything from history, to politics, linguistics and lots of other odds and ends. I LOVE learning new languages and about new cultures. This is, I suppose, where my love, no, passion, for travel comes into play. I don´t believe there is one place I don´t want to visit in this world. Right now I´m trying to see all of Europe but have my eyes on Oceanía and *MORE* of South America as well, (principally Brasil).

I´m always working on "mejorando" my Spanish, Portuguese, and French and my knowledge of the cultures in countries where these beautiful languages are spoken. So even better if I can practice them during a trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to want to travel SO MUCH that it´s hard to always find a companion and so I think couchsurfing would be good for me to have someone to show me around, practice a language with, and perhaps build a strong and lasting friendship.

I often stay with couchsurfing hosts on my travels and highly recommend it to those I know who have never heard of couchsurfing. It is such an amazing way to travel and get to know different countries and cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve stayed with several AMAZING hosts all over Europe and it is always an absolutely fantastic time. I love getting to know a city through a locals eyes. You experience so much more and get the feel of each place so much more fulfillingly. I also meet up with people visiting Madrid to show them around or go out for a drink. Have made many interesting friendships through this site.
;-P

Interests

Languages, food, travel, nature, anything that is interesting (;-P) and getting under the skin of each and every country and city that I visit... which is where couchsurfing helps so much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, every travel experience I have is amazing to me...I truly feel alive when I travel... it´s when I´m most "como pez en el agua".

If I had to say one thing... I´d say the Foz do Iguaçu was the most breath-taking and memorable thing I´ve ever seen...

But then the butterflys I get in my stomach whenever going to a new country can sometimes be just as nice...
