About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Back in Cape Town after several years away!
ABOUT ME
I am open-minded, creative, a bit of a philosopher ;-) and love to have a laugh - and at the same time I care deeply about and work on things related to human rights, equality, freedom and caring for the environment. I'm passionate about photography, the arts and beauty in all its forms: in nature, design, art, film, theatre, on the streets and, of course, in people. I love nature, from the ocean and mountains to the night skies, and find great peace connecting with nature and the wonder of existence.
I'm a global citizen and a humanitarian: I believe that we are all connected and that as human beings we all have more in common than what divides us. I have friends all over the world and love meeting people and making new friends that share the same values as I do.
PHILOSOPHY
Stay human. Be positive. Smile. Laugh. Laugh again. Think. Read. Walk. Drink. Talk. Hug. Share. Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As someone that grew up during the bad days of Apartheid in South Africa, being part of the liberation of the country as a child and student was crazy and scary but something I'm quite proud of and not the kind of experience you can buy. To go from that background as a kid to the work I've done in many parts of the world has been amazing thing. And then there's a million moments: mountains, and sunsets, and oceans, and butterflies, and the call of the muezzin at dusk by the river in Istanbul. For me its all about the little moments and not necessarily one grand experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always want to learn about different ways of being; about what people do in their daily lives and how they understand their worlds. I'm willing to share my experiences, my knowledge of South African society and history, to show people around or advise them on things to do. And also keen on taking photos or doing creative stuff together.
