About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and meet new people in every place.

ABOUT ME

I've always liked to travel since i was a kid. I am in the midst of changing professions. I am planning on going to Budapest and taking my CELTA/TEFL course and hopefully travel from place to place teaching English to Adults and children alike in throughout the world. I am starting in Central America

I like to have a beer now and again when I travel and meet new people out and about but until lately i haven't had much of a chance to get around. I hope to change this quite soon.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live, I like to party and am a very easy going person. I also like to volunteer when possible helping homeless kids with problems and teaching computer work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new here so I haven't had much chance to participate but I hope to get to know some couch surfers in some of the places I will be going and I would love in turn to meet anyone for coffee and lunch that is in my area visiting. Unfortunatelty I don't have a couch at this time but when I change places I will for sure love to start hosting people. For those visiting from abroad I can show you around the San Fransisco Bay Area. There are many places to see like Fisherman's wharf, Exploratorium, Haight St. Telegraph Ave. We could have lots of fun.

If your into museums I've no all the places around here and even thoe I'm a local I still go from time to time. Alcatraz is my favorite. We have the planetarium, Sutters Fort in Sacramento and Monterey bay down south. I can be a pretty good tour guide and my schedule is very flexible. just try and message me before you make your plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I left California at 16 and criss crossed the United states staying with people from Baltimore, to Richmond and even abandoned buildings called squats in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Hopping trains, hitchiking, and even riding Greyhound working along the way from place to place to get a sense of each cities charms. I did the same in Austin Texas and many other cities throughout the US.

Having burnt out the US I hope to give Europe, Africa, Mexico, Central, and South America along with giving Asia a try.

The people I have surfed with from South Dakota, Montgomery Alabama and even those couch surfers I've met around the world have been great people to know.

Interests

Travelling is probably my main interest but I like to see new things even in the city i live. I also enjoy to go on walks in nature and see things far away from to many people and traffic. I love diving and got my Advanced PADI Certification in Honduras. I love camping out under the stars, cooking my own meals from a tent and seeing nature at it's most untouched condition.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old movies like Casablanca, Anything with Humphrey Bogart, Sydney Greenstreet, and Peter Lorre. I sometimes wish I could have been born 50 years earlier.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing as of yet. I hope that will come in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to spread my talents and volunteer for a long term period in a place where I'm needed and possibly teach English as a way to supplement my income.

So far my immidiate plans are to take a few months to several months learning Spanish and volunteering in Xela, Guatemala.

Countries I’ve Visited
