ABOUT ME

Hello, everybody!
I'm half-german & half-greek and live with my 15 year old daughter in Athens, Greece. I've been to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Irland, Turkey & Taiwan but I 'd like to see a bit more of the world together with my daughter.
I 'll be happy to host and visit interesting people and I'm also interested in home-swaping.

PHILOSOPHY

If my Jesus is a Jew, my car Japanese, my pizza Italian, my democracy Greek, my numbers Arabic, my alphabet Latin... then why should my neighbour be a foreigner?

Interests

I like reading, reading, reading and often, when I've housework to do, I'm listening to audio books (what a great invention!).
I also like music a lot and as my mood is changing during the day, so does the music I'm listening to.
I love travelling to new places and meeting new people. I think there is hidden beauty in every corner of the world, as long as one is willing to see it.
I collect pigs and also love dollhouses, miniatures and old toys (fragments of an imaginary intact world?).
I'm very fond of Ireland and especially its culture, music and dance. Unfortunately there are no Irish-dancing schools in Greece, so I'll never have the chance to accomplish my dream and become Bettina Flatley!
But some years ago I accomplished another dream of mine: I'm a big fan of horror b-movies and fortunately I did participate in one... as a blood thirsty zombie (huh, me and my friend where the only zombies over 40, but maybe we had more fun than anyone else)! We are talking about lots of blood - just watch this:
