ABOUT ME

I'm a single man. Very interested in learning about Eastern Europe as my Grandfather was from there. I have a modest home. No fancy house for me. I love to travel. On my way to Lithuania middle of May. I hope to meet some new friends and learn about the culture. Oh yes I'm single so I might have to be careful not to fall for any Eastern European women. Hahahahha. I'm just joking.

PHILOSOPHY

Live with passion. To me that does not mean to hurt someone or be mean spirited towards someone. I have been around so many people that the only thing that matters is the money or material goods they have accumulated. When I do finally find my soul mate it will be for love and not the material things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to have a couch available at a later time. Still in the middle of remodeling my home. I'm trying to find a couch while on vacation and see what it is all about. Sounds like a great idea to me. In fact I could meet some people at least for a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I am bad to not update my profile here. Back in 2009 I traveled To Lithuania and I did Couchsurf for a couple nights. We talked a few times via e mail and when we met we had a wonderful time. He showed me his part of the world and explained I was trying to visit a village where my grandfather was born. I met his family and all I can say it went great. This was the only time I couchsurfed but maybe another time I can do it again.

Interests

I'm interested in sports. Ok I'm a sports junkie sometimes. I love hockey,football,basketball. I play volleyball and tennis when I get the chance also. I have in my backyard an old car from 1977 which am trying to restore. Almost forgot love to ride my bicycle on a pretty day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music,favorite decade was the 80's and of course the dance music of the disco age in the 70's. I like slapstick comedys. As far as books go I'm more of a magazine reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen so many things change in the last few years. It's mind boggling. Really people should stop relax and smell the flowers. Enjoy life to the fullest.

I would like to meet some people weather I come to their home or someone comes to visit me in my city. In my eyes this would be fun and a great learning experience.
