ABOUT ME

I am a special education science tracher. I love my job! Every day I get to work with kids, learn new things, color, read, do crafts, and occasionally literally do rocket science! During the school months I am captivated by my work, but I also love my job because I have summers off to do other things I love. I like to travel (and couch surf and/or host), go hiking and camping, and enjoy taking naps in the afternoon simple for the reason of because I can. I'm usually up for trying new things and game for any kind group/ social and/or outdoor thing. I enjoy coffee, tea, beer, and good food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy surfing and traveling, but I LOVE hosting other surfers. I have surfed some, but I mostly host. When I can, I also really enjoy attending local Couch Surfing happy hours and mixers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My overall experience of CouchSurfing has been amazing! I love to host and invite people from all over the wold to come stay with me. I love listening to other's travel stories of where they are coming from and where they are going to. I have made several long lasting relationships with some of my hosts and surfers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I breifly served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa. It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to live abroad, serve a community and truly immerse myself in a beautiful African culture.
