ABOUT ME

I'm a Gypsy-Yoga Teacher-Nomad who's half Canadian and half American. I feel happy and blessed to live most of my life on the road these days, but I'm mainly based managing an affordable yoga retreat center on a small island in south Thailand. My greatest joy is living in the moment when I'm traveling. And traveling doesn't have to mean I'm constantly going from place to place, for me it just means being somewhere other than the US where I'm stimulated and inspired by new settings.

I see myself as a vibrant yet peaceful person who is caring, sincere and super clean (I'm a great houseguest and have roommates to vouch for me!) I'm extremely considerate, trustworthy and honest. I also have a ton of travel stories and tips to share if that interests you.

I have an opportunity to work the craft market at Union Square, NYC for a month or so in December so I'm looking for a place to stay all or part of the time.

PHILOSOPHY

Just be. Be yourself. Learn to know yourself and love. Then give. Give it all away because you trust it'll come back to you if you need it.

I'm not interested in having a lot of possessions or a false sense of security; I love living a simple life. But if I can live to 90 and have a wealth of countries I've seen, things I've experienced and people I've met...that would be a beautiful and full life for me.

Yoga, meditation, hiking, biking, rock climbing, surfing, dancing, singing, guitar, hoola-hooping, reading, writing, eating (I'm a food tourist!), health/nutrition, Ayurveda, seeing new places and learning about different cultures of the world.

My favorite thing to do is simply be outside. Fresh air. Mountains. Ocean. Ahhh.

I'm a huge live music fan. I can get excited about most any kind of music, but I particularly love World, Reggae, Jam Bands, Jazz and Blues.

So many to list! Most recently I did a 6 week solo trek in the Everest region of Nepal--the Himalayas are just so breathtaking. Truly sacred ground.
