ABOUT ME

29 year old musician who loves traveling and learning about people, places and history. I am from and currently live in Melbourne, although I have lived previously in Naples, Italy and Leeds, UK. I occupy my time by playing and writing original music and travel around Australia doing so, and have also spent a lot of time in Europe and a little in Asia.
I enjoy meeting new people, I feel that talking to people is usually the best way to get to an insight into any culture rather than just visiting archeological sites, etc. (as much as I also enjoy doing the normal touristy things sometimes too).

I'm pretty sure I could be described as a friendly and laid-back person, at least I hope so...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in meetings in various countries and by making an effort to meet CS members whenever I can wherever I am. I do not have the space to be able to host but can show people around Melbourne and will hopefully be able to host in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic, since my first experience I am addicted to all things CS! Meetings in the Balkans, being hosted around Europe and meeting locals for drinks, I absolutely love being a couchsurfer!

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I've been listening to albums by Pavement, Elvis Costello, The Decemberists, Q-Tip, Sonic Youth, P.O.S., Joe Strummer and The Clash. I just read 'Bliss' by Peter Carey, good stuff, and am now reading 'The Berlin Wall', a history of the wall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen so many amazing things during my short time traveling; standing on the roof of the cathedral in Barcelona, the cliffs of Malta, swimming in the perfect waters of Corsica, battling my way through the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, snowstorms in Amsterdam and Prague, the giant Buddha in Hong Kong, the cathedral in Monreale in Sicily...
