ABOUT ME

Weeeell, I am a a traveler at heart who hasn't actually... heh, traveled. Mexico is about all I've seen. However, in the part that asks about the places you want to go, I started to list them before realizing I want to go everywhere. I don't think I would turn down a travel opportunity if it were offered.

I'm a fun nut, kind of a fruit basket, but I have a big heart and alot of compassion. I want to meet all kinds of people and see all kinds of places.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is so important to live kindly, with open hearts, minds, and eyes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, right now I live in a small apartment with four other people. We are very crowded and I don't think its fair for me to tell all my roommates, "Hey guys, a couple strangers are gonna stay with us this week, K??" So for know, I'm a willing tour guide or companion while you're here, but I can't offer a couch. I'm hoping to be able to surf and receive surfers soon, though.

兴趣

I'm kind of artsy. I dabble in photography and painting, some awful but therapeutic sketching. I'm self taught and very experimental. I also write. I spent some time writing for my university paper (before I dropped out).

I love tattoos, brightly colored hair (well, brightly colored anything, really), and faeries. I like bubbly things and soft cuddly things, tie-dye and paisley, earrings, stickers, and colored beads with bells in my hair. Post-its, wall hangings, and wind chimes make me happy. I think that a bubble is everything beautiful in the world wrapped up in a single shining moment.

I love the beach and the city, both.

I'm interested in peace, hope, and life. I want to meet new people and share experiences.

I love to read and I love movies. I like anything from Adam Sandler. Comedies that aren't just stupid. Romances and dramas that make me cry. Anything sweet. Anything that gets me out of my head. As far as books go, Anything with vampires or fairies or witches. Anything that's sad or funny or sexy. Anything I can relate to or escape with, anything... well, anything, really.

Musically, I love almost anything. I don't like most metal (Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, and Within Temptation are the only exceptions.) Other than metal and maybe hardcore gangster rap, I like almost everything. I like alot of mainstream top-forties kind of stuff like and some less mainstream, indie kind of stuff. I also listen to older music like Frank Sinatra and Bob Marley. In short, I guess, my iPod could belong to half a dozen different people.

I drove to the top of an old volcano in Toluca, Mexico and stood in a swirl of clouds and mist, overlooking a dense forest before the city.
