We love good food, sometimes good wine, hike along the seashore and in the mountains, travel, and interested in cultural life, art craft, photography, psychology , spirituality , poetry, trees , books.

BUT ! We are different and independent from each other - you'll discover us when we meet, at our or your place !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We open our home to travellers from all over the world. We have a guest room, and a nice big table ! We also had the opportunity to be hosted by CS pleople. Really good moments!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We welcomed a few hosts from all over the world (Finland, France,Germany ,Turquie ,Canada, U S of America, China, Australia...). A few years ago, we welcomed a young Norwegian student during week-ends. Then a young Japanese exchange student for a whole year, full time. Then a marvelous UNFORGETABLE German, Erasmus student in Philosophy and Economy rented one of our rooms, sharing our kitchen also during a whole year. Then a Japanese student lived with us for a few months. We had three wonderful CS experiences in Istanbul : amazing town, so nice Turkish hospitality... One of our best friends in Normandy is a ceramic English artist: Frances Doherty, that we met on CS website. Henry and her are a fabulous couple sharing their life between Brighton and the area of Dieppe. We love them !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Claire swam with wild dolfins in Florida and hiked/crossed the Andes West to East... Both experiences were overwhelming !
Catherine climbed a 4000m summit in the Alps and crossed France on a mob (30km/h...) just for a date !
This was a (long) while ago, now we hike in local forests , and at times cycle on week-ends ! And we travel away by train /plane in Europe, North america , Africa, Japan etc...

Teach, Learn, Share

If i have time to do when you come : I can teach how to make mosaïcs (various technics) , i would like speak better italian , i want to share recipies , if you do good cooking or artisting things , origamis , magic tricks or are simply smily and fine, you are welcome !

What I Can Share with Hosts
