Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was not able to contribute much during the last years. But now I'm hitting the road again and will catch up with the couchsurfing experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted some people in Gothenburg/Sweden and showed some more around.
Surfed several couches across Europe - have never been disappointed.

MUSIC&CONCERTS

I try to witness as many live music experiences as possible.Music means so much to me.I can't count the number of concerts I've been to.And every one is an unique experience.
As I also can't list any of "Bands I like most".There is to much good music out there.Just as a hint,I like music starting at really rough Metal and ending with Eastern-European and Jewish Ethnic Music.

FREE PARTYS

You wouldn't tell this from my pictures,but I'm also into electronic music,especially hard and fast ;)
There are numerous half-legal/illegal partys going in the woods,at abandoned industry places etc. which have an unique atmosphere to them.

NATURE

I enjoy just wandering around the surroundings of Dresden as this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever come across.
I now also have discovered the breathtaking scandinavian landscapes...could spent weeks there. Especially Northern Norway and Northern Sweden are just unique beauty and quietness.

DRIVING

Yep,I like driving around in my car listening to good music and enjoying the feeling of total freedom,haha ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Northern Lights in North Sweden. -30°C, wind whistling and this ghostly miracle in the sky. Undescribable.

The Midnight Sun, far East at the Norwegian-Russian border far across the Arctic Circle. Just surreal, time has no meaning at all in the polar summer.

Typewriting the memoirs of my grandfather.

The technical basics of photography (the sense for the picture you have to get yourself ;)

How to get to any point in Northern Europe with any kind of public transport.

Show you around in Dresden,especially to unusual places not many people know (if you got the time)

Some cooking skills (esp. Chili!)

Fixing an internal combustion engine.

Many kinds of things concerning math and other technical disciplines (as this is my field of work)
