About Me

CURRENT MISSION

escape my own head and the normal life i live

ABOUT ME

I want to be what George Carlin once said - "a guy sitting back with a notebook". I like to take notes and make lists and observe. Sometimes I think more than I should act, but I think it's all fine and dandy as I learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to live the most fulfilling life possible, whatever that may mean, I can't be sure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some amazing and eye-opening times enjoying Couchsurfing in Brooklyn, NY. Made some good friends and spent some good time riding the subways, watching movies, drinking drinks.

Interests

Exploitation and cult movies, odd books, collecting junk, detective stories, making new friends, human potential, reading, ska music, brazilian jiu-jitsu, drinking coffee, eating ice cream, working out, etc, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a whim I co-founded a magazine with my college roommate. It was called Jagazine.

Won gold in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament.

Saw a Hello Kitty statue hiding in New York City.

Had a New York moment on a balcony in Washington Heights.

Biked thirty miles in an attempt to reach the beach in Jersey. The journey was more important than the end.
