ABOUT ME

I am a person who would like to give something back to mother nature of which we all are an integral part. The fragile beauty and balance of our environment is in danger. So I believe that we should all enjoy the bounty of nature by travel in a responsible manner, for instance through couch surfing. I am bit of an introvert who like to crack jokes and sing songs. I also enjoy dancing. I am also guilty of being fond of good food too.

PHILOSOPHY

Give our 100% in anything we set do and God will take of the rest and I also believe in the power of ernest prayer to God.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to share the pristine greenery of my state Assam in India with rest of the world through couchsurfing. I believe couchsurfing.com gives us an opportunity to truly experience and appreciate our beautiful planet, Earth our only home in a eco-friendly manner.

Interests

I like to listen to good music. It may range from Afro to Trance, the only criteria is that it should have melody and rhythm. I like to watch movies which portrays human emotions and issues of global importance. I am also a sporty kind of person who likes to try his hand in sports ranging from archery to wushu. My favourite sport or game is chess and my favourite sportsman is Andre Agassi. I am also fond of reading books ranging from comics to science fiction. My favourite authors are Isaac Asimov and Arthur C Clarke.
I also like to watch the performance of my state Assam's classical dance called Sattriya dance which originated on the cradle of Assamese culture, the world famous river island called 'Majuli'. I also like to listen to 'Borgeet', the traditional devotional songs of Assam which possess a strong, haunting melody.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day last year I stumbled on the railway track near our home and the speeding train was just a metre or two away, but somehow I miraclelously was able to get up and run away to safety from the speeding train in an instant without anyone’s help. I believe that day God gave me a second chance at life.

I can elaborate on topics like Ecology & Biodiversity Conservation. I like to learn to play the guiter and the piano.

I can share my experience of working among the 2 leaves and a bud of world renowned "ASSAM TEA". The trials and tribulations of this life along with its inherent joys and pleasures which casts a mesmerising spell upon you as soon you land upon this green heaven called Assam, the one and foremost Assam, a land without any equals.
