À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

To succeed in my new work as a tour guide

ABOUT ME

Traveler at heart, as of a month ago I'm officially a Licensed Tour Guide in Israel, so if you know of anyone who's planning a trip please let me know. I'd be happy for the oppurtunity :) A dreamer, thinker, music lover, book collector, always enjoy meeting other fellow travelers, outgoing, love the outdoors and hiking, love spicy food, chocolate, lazy mornings with a cup of coffee, I love hanging out with friends at pubs, but sometimes would prefer staying home with a good book/ record/ movie. At times a bit shy and at times an enthusiast talker. Love to share a beer with you and a good chat.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, live and let live. Don't judge people by the title they wear on their nametags, but by who they really are. Don't wear masks or hide behind the masks you wear.
Life is a road, not a destination.
Modesty is a virtue.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies- Fight Club, Life of Brian, Into the Wild, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Apocalypse Now, Garden State, Donnie Darko, I'm Not There, American Beauty, Pulp Fiction. Mostly I like independent films, cult movies, satires, parodies and certain foreign films.
TV sucks, but there are a few gems like Southpark, Scrubs, Seinfeld, Californication, Carnivale, Futurama and more...

Music- Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grateful Dead, Canned Heat, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Smiths, Pixies, Eels, Pink Floyd, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, Tori Amos. In general- Indie, alternative, psychadelic, country, rock, folk, jazz and blues. I'm open minded about music and always enjoy to discover new stuff, if it's not too mainstream.

Books- Jack Kerouac- On the Road, Lonesome Traveler, The Dharma Bums, Big Sur, Desolation Angels. Kurt Vonnegut- Cat's Cradle. Douglas Adams- Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Albert Camus- The Stranger, Neil Gaiman- Neverwhere. Ray Bradbury- Fahrenheit 451. Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Can give you a tour, introduce you to some cool, touristic and less touristic places, take you hiking in and around Haifa, show you some cool spots not mentioned on tourguide books. I'll share a beer with you and discuss anything from local food to even(!)local politics. I love literature and can introduce you to some great books. I love languages and would love to learn as well as help. Will share everything in my kitchen, and offer a ride inside the city if public transport ain't satisfying enough, when I'm available.
