CURRENT MISSION
Riding bikes in Berlin
ABOUT ME
I am originally from New Zealand and have lived in Berlin for the last 4 years. I love riding bicycles, make delicious cakes, enjoy games of back-yard cricket and am fascinated by art and architecture. I am currently learning Deutsch, working as a freelance and illustrator and have started a new illustration website called Illustrators Illustrated. I'm getting pretty excited about the onset of spring and getting some plants sprouting in our patch of dirt in our community garden.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: I just watched 'Winter Light' by Ingmar Bergman and it was amazing.
Music: Smog, David Bowie, Bachelorette, Iron and Wine, Cat Power, Billie Holiday, Feist, Johnny Cash, M.Ward, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, The Clean, Fugazi, Neil Young, Fleet Foxes, Velvet Underground, Joni Mitchell, Pavement, Joy Division, Sigur Ros, The National, Talking Heads.
Books: I am currently reading my way through a list longer than my arm, but the last few books I have read include 'Tender is the Night', 'The Kite Runner', 'The Lovely Bones', 'Slaughterhouse 5', 'Of Mice and Men', 'Uncommon Arrangements', and the crime half of 'Crime and Punishment'.
Update: I have now also read the punishment half. Turns out its quite grim.
