About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to gather 15,000 folk for a group hug at stone henge

ABOUT ME

At my best i'm creative with painting and music, and recently gardening. I love being on, in or at least near the sea, and have for several years fluttered with learning to surf. I have been gardening for work since my daughter's birth, and before then I drifted playing music and having fun with friends, at parties and festivals.

AT my worst I'm very easy going, i'm rarely rushed, and i am very happy to take my time... and be lazy. It is always the simplest of pleasures that keeps me happy, i have the wealth of fantastic friends and a blessed life that I offer to share with everyone.

PHILOSOPHY

be as you are, and accept all else.

we are one

you see, feel, live and are what you think.

If you are hurt, tell yourself that you are not hurt, and you won't feel hurt, if you do not feel hurt, then you haven't been.

If you feel anger, the thing you are angry at, is probably not angry at you. you are only making yourself angry, so let it pass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1999 there was a full eclipse of the sun in England. It was a wednesday morning, and it was horribly grey, cold and raining in newquay. just past 11a.m the shadow from the horizon swept in and all the land and sea fell to darkness. moments passed, camera's flashed, pink floyd echoed and when the sun re-appeared, it was warm... the skies were blue, birds were singing and no clouds were in sight. it was pretty magical.

almost as magical as my daughters laugh

A TASTY RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS: measures vary for taste:

mix together in a big bowl, flour, yeast (one packet of yeast for half a bag of flour), salt, a pinch of sugar, slightly warm water, a knob of butter, and an egg or 2 (depending on the amount of flour).

mix all the dry stuff together and then add the wet stuff.

knead and fold, and roll together adding extra flour until the water is absorbed and the dough is bound together in a firm but squishy ball.

cover with a tea towel and leave in a warm place (not a cooking oven) until the dough has raised. once raised, knead the dough again and shape into fun things like willies and boobs or just bread shapes and glaze the top with either a whisked egg yolk or black coffee or honey or marmalade (obviously to your own taste) glazing gives a very pretty finish. can also make slices with a knife across the top of the dough which also helps presentation...

cook in an oven until dough raises and becomes lightly brown. this should not take longer than 25-35 mins in most ovens at 180'C, and can be checked by tapping the bottom of the dough. If it knocks with a hollow sound it is cooked. If the knock is more thud, then put it back in the oven.

Once cooked, slice and dunk into your preferred choice of soup, rub your belly and say yum three times.
