About Me

ABOUT ME

Im back at "Rascals Mini Camp" in Prattville, Alabama, a Permaculture mini camp I made for eco sustainable living and creative endeavors. pets at "Rascals Mini Camp, Alabama are a Bengal Cat, Sacred Cow and Bull from South India. I recently lived in Colombia for 6 months. I spent a total of 7 years in India where I studied vedic philosophy, classical singing, and sat with yogis in revered pilgramage places. I like art, singing, hiking, swimming in lakes and rivers, wild foraging, tennis, learning history, and building global sustainable community. I have a studio apartment available to rent here and plan to new-build more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFIng

I like to host globally minded couch surfers. Sometimes I feel alien in my local environs. I made a Permaculture Sustainability place here. I want to learn about your country and your perspective on USA and the world. I can show you around the historical part of Prattville, a local History Museum, and Art center. We can take a walk along the creek or play tennis. If I have time I can take you to historic Fort Toulouse or Montgomery which is famous for civil rights and confederate history. During summer, it's nice to zwim/ float down the nearby Autauga creek..sometimes I take guests to historic Selma, AL.

I want to travel to many countries and experience real culture of each area rather than tourism in hotels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Upton Sinclaire's "The Jungle",
"Thoreau's "Walden Pond",

World music like Bossa Nova, Latin dance music, Afro Cuban, Hindustani, Broadway vocalists, relax and chill instrumental.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended a famous festival in India where over one million people participate in singing, dancing, drums, cymbols. Rare chance to touch the diety was phenomenal peak experience.
