ABOUT ME
I am a baker that enjoys working both with his brain and his back creating something for people
I am a bit of a geek (even being geeky about traveling in the way I think of it) but also have socialite, bogan and a little jock mashed in: it makes it hard to describe my personality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have taken part in regular organised gatherings of couchsurfing Tampere and have had a guest to stay at the squat I ran there several times and have stayed on a few couches around Europe.
In Australia I've also hosted a few surfers when I was living and working in Victoria.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had nothing but good times with both the hosting/surfing side and the social gathering sides: meeting lots of warm and interesting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent nine months living in a squat in Tampere, Finland without electricity nor running water. It was an absolutely amazing experience in which I got to see things and meet people I would have never gotten the chance to: it blew my mind.
I spent three weeks with a bus full of exchange students doing an intensive travel around northern, central and western Europe. Getting the chance to hang out with so many like-minded individuals as we cut a swathe of destruction across some of the most well-known tourist spots was truly awesome.
