ABOUT ME

After graduating from college, I moved to Turkey to be with my boyfriend (who is now my husband!) and hopefully learn something about Turkish and Turkish culture. I'm enjoying Istanbul and would like to meet more interesting people here.
I am a die-hard Democrat and worked on the Obama campaign for almost a year. I like learning about other opinions, especially if they are knowledgeable on a particular subject.
I was raised in the country, and my family still lives on a small ranch. However, I prefer the city (or several different cities!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing while living in Amman, Jordan and enjoyed attending many of the group activities and meeting couchsurfers. The CSers in Jordan made the country feel like home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted much more than surfed. I love hosting and helping travelers get around my city, but the CS group meetings are my favorite part. I need to start attending them in Turkey!

Scuba diving in the Red Sea, mountain climbing in Canada, working on the Obama campaign.

I know a lot about Turkish and American politics and love discussing it. I have also lived as an expat in Jordan and Turkey and enjoy meeting other expats to hear about their experiences.
