About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be free and independent and just have a great time with great people:)

ABOUT ME

I love how on this site the most overused phrase is " I am very open-minded and I love to travel."
Well considering you are part of this community, I sure hope you are:P

About me: My friends would probably describe me as "crazy, extremely talkative but caring person with a smile on her face at all times"

You can believe that or not, it's up to you. You can also get to know me and make your own opinion about what you think I am like.

I would consider myself to be a person always living on an extreme. I'm ambitious (in most matters), apparently mature for my age (or so they tell me) and I enjoy long conversations and crazy dance moves. I love talking to people that are passionate and generally interesting. What really "interesting" in this context means to me is up for discussion. I have met many amazing people so far with the help of couchsurfing which I am very grateful for.

I don't think those few lines do me really justice but you got to write something ^^

PHILOSOPHY

Don't ever think that you don't deserve the things you want, because this way you only limit yourself in so many ways.

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. -Buddha

"People always say time changes things, but actually you have to change them yourself." -Andy Warhol

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travelled through Europe and had some of the best experiences:)

Interests

People in general, interesting personalities, learning about other cultures and views on life
photography, art, movies, fashion, music, i like to think of myself as being very versatile:)

Some influences for me:
Andy Warhol:
ok, I will admit, if you ask anyone that knows me, they will tell you I have an obsession with the artist Andy Warhol. I guess it's kinda true, considering I even named my macbook pro "Andy". There are just so many interesting aspects about him, his art, his life that amazes me. Andy seemed to have a solution for every problem. He was never scared to be himself, even though he knew it was not tolerated by other people and you could say he was the master of self-marketing.

Generally I prefer people that do their own thing. They really affect me, my life and the way I see things enormously. Other people might call them weird, crazy or anything like that but they truly inspire me to do the things I wouldn't dare normally.

Johnny Weir:
The most beautiful and talented figure-skater there is. At least for me. I love the way he talks his emotions and even disapproval by certain people doesn't bother him at all. He is the way he is and that makes him so special as a person. He is the one that dared to be diva and flamboyant, when male figure-skater should become more manly. He refuses to got that way and just wears what he likes and does the things the way he likes them to be. When everybody tells him he can't do anything, he will return and prove those people wrong. That's what I find so unique about him. His talent is also enormous, the way he moves on the eyes is just beautiful, so gracious like ballet on ice, he makes it look so smooth and easy that you could be falling into a daydream of you moving so gracefully on ice.

Lady Gaga: She is a sparkling diamond in a fucking rhinestone-world. Not only is she extremely talented as a singer, dancer, entertainer and songwriter no, she even designs most of her outfits. People like her make me believe in the pop-world again. She is a clever woman on top of that. She seems like one of those, that people like to underestimate. Trust me, she has the strings in her hand and everybody is played by her like a little puppet. Fashion-wise she is very inspiring, she likes to cross lines with her outfit-choices, some call them ugly, some fabulous but they are never plain or boring. There is no blending in with Gaga and that's a very good thing.

Chris Corner: A very talented songwriter, producer, musician and singer. Not only is his german rather marvelous but he seems to be an extremely witty and non-conformist mind that has the urge to express those inner feelings. Listening to his music is never boring. It's sexy, deep, entertaining, beautiful and well structured.

Those are only just some of the people that inspire me in my everyday life. There are a lot more but I couldn't mention everyone on here. That list would be too big and my close friends also inspire and influence me the most. They know me well and so do I and just generally never fail to amaze me new from time to time.

One of the best experience was my stay in Carlsbad/California at my hostsister Mandie's place in 2009. I made so many new dear friends and could enjoy so many amazing experiences. It really proved to me that there are nice people everywhere in the world, that aren't that different to me or the people I know and if you just open your heart and let them in, take interest in them, they will do the same thing for you aswell.
