About Me

ABOUT ME

I was a national level gymnast for the majority of my childhood and teenage years. It consumed my life, and I owe a lot of who I am to those times. I am currently a full time urban planner and designer. Doing work that I truly love.

French-Canadian from the province of Manitoba, I love learning new languages and trying to communicate with other people from around the world with all our linguistic quirks.

There really is so much to see and so much to do out there that I must grasp at every opportunity I get!

I love any kind of outdoor sport and I'm always ready to try anything new at least once.

PHILOSOPHY

ohhh this is a good one:

“There are holes in history. Tears in time. And sometimes, if you turn your head just a bit, squint your eyes and shut your mouth, just for a second, you might be able to see the shining needle of coincidence that mends those broken moments, weaving them seamlessly back into the fabric of time. And if you’re really lucky, that needle will suddenly rip up out of the past, straight through the center of your eye and nail your optic nerve right to the back of your head.”
- Matthew Ritchie

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed all over New Zealand, England, Scotland and France. I've also hosted quite a bit while I was living in Bordeaux. Now that I'm living in Abbotsford, mi casa es su casa! I can't actually speak spanish though...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unbelievable, the people I've met through this website are those that made my travels unforgettable. I can't imagine a better way of making your way through a country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the sun at 3 in the morning when in the Northern Territory of Yukon in Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some gymnastics skills, a lot of people ask me how to do flips. A couch is a good place to start - haha!

I would love to learn more about basic survival stuff <-- this kind of information could come in very handy.
I'm useless at fixing any kind of mechanical problems.

I cook a mean lasagna!

I also need to spruce up my photography skills.
