About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel and make new friends everywhere!

ABOUT ME

I'm an argentinean guy living in Madrid since 2009. Since moving to Europe I began to enjoy travelling. There's so much to see and learn!

At first I thought I would only be here for a short period, but then... you know, life happens. I really like it here in Madrid and even though i've visited many cities and conuntries, I still feel there's so so soooo much i don't know and places i've never been to that I just can't wait to discover.
And it's not just about places or sights. Since I was a kid i've been quite interested in understanding people and learning from other cultures. I'm a quite curious and inquisitive person. I'm very fond of the experience of learning what makes every one of us unique.

I work as an engineer for an internet company, and I'm also an amateur theatre actor and dancer. I love arts, performing arts above all; and of course I enjoy literature, films, design and music.
I enjoy conversations that can wander from one subject to the other, talking about anything you're interested in or have ever done, learnt, or dreamed of

PHILOSOPHY

Become who you are. Dream, reach for more. Never stop learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participated for a year as a host here in Madrid, but since I moved to a different appartment i've only been available in Madrid for coffee and showing the city.

I am friendly, respectful, and a fun-to-be-around surfer. I can either be silent, undisturbing visitor, or your fun cool new friend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several people in my first appartment here in Madrid, and I enjoyed doing it quite a lot. I make excellent choices when it comes to deciding on a host for my trips. My visits to London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and Berlin were awesome and I will always remember the wonderful people I met there thanks to CS (and to my magnificent CS-host-selecting skill, of course)

I have also travelled in this fashion before registering to CS: in Argentina, I visited 3 or 4 cities thanks to the kindness of people I met on the internet, who offered to host me even though they didn't know me personally. Every single one was a great experience.

I also made some "pen-friends" around the world in my youth years, and i had the pleasure of hosting their visits in Buenos Aires. And i loved it!

Interests

Mainly, arts... and people. It is commonly said that every person in the world is unique and special; i enjoy finding out what makes any one of us a special, singular person.
I also enjoy dancing, sports, going out, trekking, and above all things in the world, food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find amazing experiences in simple things, such as a book, the love of a friend, a quiet walk in the woods or around a busy city.
I can mention the 2-day trekking ascention to "Los Laguitos", in El Bolson (Patagonia Argentina), a mountain cabain (refuge) in the middle of the Andes. It's the most beautiful sight i've ever seen... and so peaceful. I've uploaded a picture to show you the place =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish and english, of course... we can discuss theatre, history, maths, fashion... and learn anything you'd want to share.
I am also quite a good cook ;)
