ABOUT ME

Hey!
My name is Yvonne, I'm 22 and since 1 year I'm working on getting my university degree in 'International Business and Management', which is a fancy name for basically just studying economics plus 2 languages (in my case that's English and Spanish).
I'm from Germany but started trying to get away from this country (at least once in a while ;)) in 2006, when I took of to the US to work as an Aupair for 1 year. After coming back it just took me 3 months to experience another country and I spent another 6 months in Spain. Since I became little more 'serious'/a student I at least do some short trips to discover all those nice places in Europe (Viva los low fares airlines! :)).
The aspect I always enjoyed the most about spending time in another country was meeting all different kinds of people from all over the world! The thing is that it sometimes appears to be so much harder if you just go for a short period of time, sleeping in a hostel that is often mostly occupied by other Germans... That's why I was really happy when I found out about couchsurfing.com cause I think this is a great idea and I can't wait for my first adventure as a couchsurfer or also as a host, providing my couch to someone (you can make my couch a big, comfortable bed by the way haha).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, so far I just surfed the couches of people I already met before in any part of the world and I also just had visitors I've known before!
So I'm a couchsurfing-virgin looking forward to my first experience. :)
