CURRENT MISSION

This was true previously:
"To save money on hotels so that I can afford to fly to more places AND allow others to use my place to do the same - not wacky or spiritual, but is honest and probably true of many of us here ... I love meeting new interesting people too :))"
The meeting bit still is true ... I travel a lot less these days and I no longer host, so occasionally on here simply in search of making friends in the city that is now home.:)

ABOUT ME

Came back to China to live permanently a few New Years ago ... have fallen in love with the life here and it's such a great springboard to parts over this side of the world that I've always wanted to see

PHILOSOPHY

When I joined I wrote, "I'm off to Shanghai tomorrow for a party weekend ... that's about as deep as I want to get right now ..." ... well, 'tomorrow was a while ago now, but I still haven't wanted to get any deeper ...

I like the usual clubbing and movies, eating out and any interesting theatre, which isn't so often living here ... but open to much and like walks when I'm blessed with the free time to indulge and also if the vibe/scenery's right ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited China and liked it enough to return ... and settle permanently!
And without bitching about all that is wrong with the place, every time to everyone, and instead just get on with living this lovely life I now have

I also wrote this once upon a beginning:
"I'll participate well in this part - check out the day job :)) ... but can't be from a position of ignorance ... need to have more experience here first ..."
Well, I've now had enough experience here, but still don't want to take the preacher role on and supply a list of 'shoulds' and 'I think maybe nots' ...
Maybe at a push, I'd say have a look at my 'COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE' section, always be willing to continue to learn without regret and balance the need to be safe out there with being able to trust and welcome newcomers :))
