ABOUT ME

I'm a high school history teacher. Which is awesome for a variety of reasons; I get to teach about something I love, every day is different and filled with my crazy students and their random ideas, and (best of all?) I get my summers free to travel! Hence the usage of this site.
My family is pretty cool, and I have some rad friends. I like nerdy things, like Jeopardy and crossword puzzles.. and also some non-nerdy things, like live music and beer. I'm pretty laid back, and can get along with most people (unless they're closed-minded or hygienically-challenged).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year, I stayed with some lovely hosts in Scandinavia and had the best time! It was great to see the cities I visited through native (non-touristy) eyes and also meet and get to talk to people of different cultures. Really enjoyed my experiences and hoping to have some more!
