ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
In main lines, I used to move a lot overseas (more than 15 years living abroad) and I am now quite well settled in the center of France where I will be happy to host you and show you our beautiful countryside. Nevertheless, I still have the travel bug and I am always looking to meet new people, discover new places and make great experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS community 15 years ago. I had the chance to meet wonderful people in the most remoted places (tiny islands of French Polynesia, Namib desert, Easter Isl ...)

Interests

I like: biology, to drink wine, to walk in the street, to have a nap, snowing days in winter, scuba diving, the little concerts in smoky pubs, nature, to go camping, Pixar's cartoons, to cook, to drive on mountain roads, outdoor activities, www.nimportequi.com, pastis (one of the most famous french spirit!), photography, peanut butter spreaded on a warm home baked bread, winter season, a goog table soccer game with friends, to eat, hiking in mountains, sponge Bob square pants, tulips, strawberries, snorkeling, the lime jelly, kiwi fruits, mojitos...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I used to be fan of trainspotting, all the Gus Van Sant movies, Into the wild, Tarnation, 99 Francs, The Chumscrubber, Rasta rocket, c'est arrivé près de chez vous. Nowadays, I am more of those who like to laugh at a French comedy movie.

Music: Animal Collective, Say-cet, Martin Gore, Boards of Canada, Sigur Ros, bonobo, Celtic music (The real McKenzies, The Mahones...), Manu Chao, Ska-P, Mala Vita, some french groups(leptik ficus, skasoulet, tri bleiz die), accordion music (tribal jaze!) and the radio when I'm too lazy for choosing a CD.

Book: Pierre Lemaitre books and those from Joël Dicker.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

everything is different, nothing is comparable.
If I need to pick only one experience, I would say it was a trip on the Amazon I have done, jumping from village to village with local boats on which I was sleeping with a hammock. It took a big month to go up the Amazon from Belem (Brazil) to Peru.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to drink as many wines as I can! And because I'm French, I looove cooking, so I'll be glad to cook with you!
I will be happy to share my knowledges on winemaking processes or anything else around wine. I'll be definitely in!
