Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about CS while traveling so I have not had a chance to host yet.
I have only surfed and met up with fellow surfers.
When I eventually get home I can not wait to show people my local area.

Interests

I like to go to the gym but when the weather is nice I like cycling, walking and swimming.
While traveling I like hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Foreign language films are my favorite.
Music depends on my moood...
When I am in the gym I like to hear all kinds of rock and when I try to relax all kind of slow music.
Die Mosaik (a comic from Old East Germany that I started reading when I was 10 years old and never stopped).
While traveling I like to read books that are relevant to the places I am traveling in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When a friend and I were 27 we were already fed up our working lives.
Time seemed just to fly and nothing really happened.
So we both bought a big old campervan and drove for over 3 month around Europe.
This was life changing for both of us, in different ways.
My friend setteld down, got married,and now has a beautiful daughter.
For me, I just wanted to see more of the world.
I saved for 5 years and then flew as far as I could away from Germany and started traveling as a backpacker.
