ABOUT ME

Let's see...I grew up in a small city surrounded by hundreds of miles of farms in Illinois, USA. After high school, I left my home to go to college in Boston, where I'm currently located. I studied applied mathematics in college, but for the past 8 years, I've been doing as much musical theater as I can on the side. Now I'm teaching computer science to 6th graders. I've been on a bit of a traveling binge lately, and I'm loving it! ...That's about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I figure you only get to live life once, so if there's something that you want or you want to do, go for it! Don't get caught up in the details.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered CS while abroad, and I'm hoping to use it to meet new people and have awesome experiences. Once I get back to the States, I'm going to open up my couch to people so that they can also have awesome experiences and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in Haifa, and it was INCREDIBLE. I met and stayed with awesome people, and it was an experience I will not soon forget. Next came San Francisco, an equally epic journey, from which I obtained one of my prize possessions: the pants flag.

Let's see...One amazing thing I've done that comes to mind is climbing Masada in Israel to watch the sun rise. It was breathtaking.

I am more than willing to share my knowledge of music, acting, and dance with anyone and everyone who will listen. If more traditional academic endeavors are your preference, I'm also rather knowledgeable in math and physics. If there's one thing I'd like to learn, I'd have to say it's how to play guitar.
