Sobre Mim

Mh, what could be interesting to decide if you want to surf with me or not?
Of course I am narrow-minded, I don't like to meet people and I hate to travel. That's why I am on Couchsurfing, right?
Beside, I think I am a pretty regular guy, layed back and don't take myself and life too seriously. I think it's hard to shock or offend me, so if you are not a religious fanatic, political extreme or missionary vegan, we should get along together quite well.
To fulfil some German cliches: I like beer (sadly I can't handle it very well, so I mostly take the alcohol free), sausages, watching soccer even so I don't support a specific team, and I am strict about arriving on time.
I enjoy the simple things in life like being outside in nature, laying in the grass and watching the sky while discussing about life, the universe and everything. And I am open and curious to try and see new things. So, if you have an idea or hobby that you think could broaden my horizon: Let's go for it!

My dream would be to leave Germany and settle down on a community farm in the Carribian Sea, Spain, or somewhere else where the sun is shining and "Bodenfrost" can not be translated in the local language. But I suppose this will stay a dream for a while...

Since cooking seems to be a big deal here, some update:

I am one of the worst cooks in Germany. So please don't ask me to cook a typical dish for you, you would get sick and I would be ashamed. I can rather bring you some German sweets or beer as a present.
However, I don't mind cooking together, as long as you take the lead and I keep cutting the onions, peeling potatoes...

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I started my CS career with a few trips in Germany. Thanks to these hosts who let me in without references.

After I moved to Frankfurt (and therefor a region with an active community and travellers comming) I also had the chance to host travellers, often last minute/emergency requests, and take part in (or organize) small meetings/events.

Meeting different people from so many countries really enriched life, since everyone brings his/her own experiences, stories, views on life...
And beside some very few unlovely experiences I think signing up here almost 5 years ago was one of my best decissions.
