About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to explore and enjoy!

ABOUT ME

Open mind, positive thoughts, smile on the face. An explorer who could never imagine his life without the outdoors, traveling and photography.

I enjoy searching for true local experiences, looking at the world from a little philosophical point of view and from different perspectives. There is always a fun way of seeing things!

Some call me adventurer, some call me artist, others call me journalist. Some call me economist, some some say I am crazy. Others do not say anything...

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes life gives you lemons. Then you make lemonade.

What the mind conceive, the mind can achieve.

In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun!

The world is small, but there is so much to see!

Some call it Europe, we call it home.

Have no plan B.

Interests

There are many. Come on, everything is interesting!

Photography, art, traveling, climbing, bouldering, slacklining, fishing, new cultures, live music, investment, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, unicycling, running, driving, paragliding, theater, acting, writing, organizing stuff, new experiences, looking at the same things from different points of view... (surely I don't do all of it regularly, but these are definitely the things I enjoy and plan to do again in the future).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:

Three films I would recommend (for three different types of people):
* "My Son My Son What Have Ye Done" (W. Herzog, D. Lynch, etc.)
* "Across the Universe" (J. Taymor, J&S Todd, etc.)
* "Cheech & Chong" (T. Chong, C. Marin, etc.)

+all kinds of travel and adventure documentaries.. European movies are simply amazing!

I don't have a TV for the last few (many) years:-/ ..and, you know, it's sooo much fun!

No fantastic stuff though (still haven't seen Star Wars or Godzilla). I prefer getting my dose of "fiction" from extreme documentaries like "The Blizzard of AAHHH's" instead.

Books:

Three books I would recommend (for everyone):
* "Freakonomics: The Hidden Side of Everything", S. D. Levitt & S. J. Dubner (economists for non-economists about the world)
* "Shantaram", Gregory David Roberts (a deep and philosophical story of life and travelling)
* "A technique for producing ideas", James Webb Young (simple and logical read for half an hour even if it was first published in 1976)

Usually it is non-fiction. Mostly travel stories, but also journalistic observations of today's world, everyday's life, some thematic literature about photography, etc.

Music:

Live music rocks!
I like all kinds of music and especially to see how it is being made. It depends on my mood, place, memories, weather, breakfast etc...

From reggae to metal, from jazz to celtic. Not a fan of electronics, by the way. E.g. Mike Stern, Lenny Kravitz, Marijonas Mikutavicius, De Phazz, Guns'n'Roses, Pangea, Hokshila, Michael Jackson, Broken Social Scene, Zuccero, UB40, CCR, The Blue Man Group, Andrius Mamontovas, Metallica, My Baby Wants To Eat Your Pussy, Brainstorm, Dave Matthews Band, Little Dragon, Ball & Chain, Awolnation, Electric Wizzard, Moby, Tunng...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
