Happiest when surrounded by friends, old and new, I joined CS because I think it's a wonderful way to meet crazy people and the best way to get to know a place while travelling.

I like to see new things, find new places, explore the world outside and be met by different ideas and ways of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just hosted once, in Vienna. Props to the Wien CS crowd, a fun bunch of irregulars who know how to look after their surfers.

Interests

I'm interested in politics and current affairs. I love to cook and eat different foods from around the world. I'm also into photography and filmmaking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Werner Herzog, Wes Anderson and Andrei Tarkovsky. 60's sci-fi, political/historical documentary, funny things.. I also watch the daily show a bit too much.

I like anything John Peel ever played. I was a britpop boy, but those days are long gone. I like HEALTH, Etta Jones, Shostakovich, and everything in between.

Books books books. Kafka, Sartre, philosophy, other classic literature and contemporary fiction like Jonathan Coe and William Boyd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the aurora borealis in Iceland, getting lost (and found) hiking in India, and playing kickball in the rain in Vienna.
