ABOUT ME

Hello, this is Charlie originally from Manchuria, China.

I’m a renewable energy engineer and work on projects to convert energy in river, wind and sunshine to electricity.

I have been living and working in Sweden, Australia and Latin America for 7 years then relocated back to China in 2021. Right now I’m based in Beijing.

I’m interested in culture, history and art, seek peace by being close to the nature such as hiking in mountains and forest. I like taste different food, experience local customs and meet amazing, insightful and open-minded people worldwide who will teach me a lot about the world and myself.

I'm keen on travelling around the world. Meeting a local couchsurfer always make a trip more impressive and meaningful.

There are many websites and apps can find a cheap accommodation in a second, the reason we are here is far beyond a free couch. And I would like to give a try.
