About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be good, do good

ABOUT ME

I was born in Valladolid (Spain). When I was 17 I moved 700km away to study Human Biology in Barcelona. Since, I've lived for a while in Istanbul, Santiago de Chile and Oxford, visited as many countries as my studies let me and at the moment I live in Cambridge.I'm very relaxed and easy going and really hard worker. I like to try new things and I love to travel and to meet people from different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I was a kid my dad has repeted me "If you want, you can", and, for the moment, it has always worked for me... With time I've learnt that if you want something enough and you're willing to work hard for it and to be imaginative but realistic about how to get it, you'll succeed. Here are some quotes I've collected here and there:
Be what you are. This is the first step toward becoming better than you are. (Julius Charles Hare)Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. (Henry Ford)It is not length of life, but depth of life. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Interests

I'm very into science, but don't worry, I'm not as geek as that sounds :). In general, I'm eager to learn new things related with any topic and challenge myself in every sense. As almost everybody, I enjoy reading a good book, watching a good film and having a drink with my friends. Other than that, I like playing and watching sports (unfortunately I'm not as good at playing as I'm at watching), dancing flamenco, playing violin and have begun to learn aerial silk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived when the bus in which I was travelling in Peru was kidnapped (I even fell asleep after 1h while it was happening... hahaha, I do sleep anywhere). I hiked to the top of Machupichu overnight and saw the dawn on the top of it (absolutely beautiful). I saw a huge bit of the Perito Moreno glacier braking down and falling (and got it on video!!). I slept out in the open in the Thar desert in India (and survived again...just woke up each hour buried in sand).

Would love to learn a little of each language, the local traditions and how to cook a traditional dish.Share: Would love to share my time and some laughs with anyone willing to do the same with me.
