My name is David. I'm 32 and from the county of Essex
in England. I lived/traveled around Australia for a year in 2005 and went 2 New Zealand for a month after. I've traveled various countries in North and South America, Asia and Europe. I taught English in China for nearly 2 years. I now live and work in north London

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have 'surfed' in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Taiwan, China, South Korea, Belguim, Paris and England so far and have met some very interesting and kind people. I enjoyed hosting people in my small room in Xiamen, China.

Movies i like: Many war and true/based on true story films; Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, The Shawshank Redemption, Trainspotting, American History X, We Were Soldiers, Braveheart, The Green Mile, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World etc.

Books i like: Travel/ non fiction; Bill Bryson, Michael Palin, Band Of Brothers, With The Old Breed, Into Thin Air, Alive, Ranulph Fiennes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling overland from Hong Kong to London. Lived and traveled around Australia for one year.
