ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Andrea. I was born and raised in Germany.
I spend one year in Des Moines, Iowa in 1995/96 where I went to high school. After finishing school in Germany, I studied in Duesseldorf - English and media sciences.

For quite a few years now, there two guys in my life: my boyfriend Jens and our dog Ole.

I love to spend time at the ocean - feel the sand underneath my feet.

It is great to walk our dog while the sun is out and tints the fields with a beautiful golden shine.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open minded!

If you are nice and kind to the people you meet, you will get the same reaction back...if not just smile and give it another try.

Don't be mad for a long time. You never know what is going to happen.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping that I manage to take part in the local meeting of Duesseldorf. So far my schedule was unfortunately always occupied with something else. But I am looking forward to finally make it during the next weeks.

Interests

One of the newest things are to take care of our bees. Since the population of bees has decreased during the last years, my boyfriend decided to buy some bees. Right now we hope that the bee colonies will survive the winter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parasailing over a lake - was just a day worth to remember.

Walking up to the foot the Briksdal Glacier which is a part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park in Norway - nature is amazing!
