HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've traveled a lot and have wanted to try couchsurfing, but always ended up meeting people by myself or staying in hostels.

I used to love showing off NYC to out of towners. Now that I've moved to the West Coast, I find myself very grateful to meet similar people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people back in my apartment in Brooklyn. Very gratifying experience.

Hiking the Volcan Baru in Panama overnight and seeing two oceans at dawn was possibly one of the greatest experiences of my life.

I know and love New York City. If I had to pick a "tragic flaw" it would be an excess of civic pride. New York is often seen as some impersonal, expensive metropolis but I experience the complete opposite everyday. I would like to show people something beyond what's in the guidebooks and give them a glimpse of the city I've grown to call my home.
