ABOUT ME
My birth certificate labels me as 'Joseph Anthony Brion Alcantara'. Yet, in this variety-driven world, the four-word name evolved into a lot of things: 'J.A.', 'Joseph', 'July', 'Joe', 'A.J.', 'Joe-joe', 'Sir Joseph' and 'Taba'. Corresponding to these names are also various roles that i love portraying: son, brother, best friend, friend, confidante, prayer partner, manager, teacher, etc. But above all, i'm simply a voyager, enjoying the journey in this so-called life.
PHILOSOPHY
Cliche, yet this is has been my mantra since I was six years old: "Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you", thanks to my godfather for giving me that powerful statement.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been active in CS back in 2009 while I was in Indonesia. Failed to be in the loop in 2010 when I moved to Singapore. Came back to the picture in 2011 when I moved to Dubai.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Directly - Had a couple of couch surfers in my apartments in Jakarta and Dubai.
Indirectly - Met people/strangers in my travels over the last few years!
Interests
Pretty standard, honestly - travel, food, drinks, movies, TV, music, beach, spa, books, gadgets, Crossfit, photography, social media, advertising. Although, I'd be willing to try anything once - except those that are related to high places or deep waters!
