About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and experience everything!

ABOUT ME

I am a crazy Winnipeger that loves to travel. Traveling is probably my favourite thing to do in the whole world. From January to July, 2011 I went on a great backpacking adventure through Europe. Couchsurfing was a great way to do so. I also really love movies. My friends call me a movie buff and I love music, all kinds from rap to classical. I am almost always in a good mood and it is really hard to put me in a bad one.

PHILOSOPHY

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

€Mark Twain

(It was my Graduation Quote)

"“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to the job you need, to pay for the clothes, and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day, so you can afford to live in it."

-Ellen Goodman

(recently discovered quote that motivates me to just LIVE)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not have a couch right now as I am still living at home but will one day and when I do, anyone can come stay. I love travelling and I love it when I meet someone who is travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is great! I was in Europe for 5.5 months and couchsurfing was a great way to find much much more than just a couch. With couchsurfing you can meet a lot of really interesting people and learn about different cultures first hand. In Tiznit, I learnt a lot about their history and everyone was great. Then, in Granada we met a man that hadn't spent any money in 5 years, crazy!

I would love to LEARN about people and their stories. How do they live their daily lives and what interests them and what they like about their home.
