ABOUT ME

I've lived and travelled in lots of places and I don't want it to stop! My other huge passions are textiles (knitting, crochet, embroidery, weaving, spinning) and sports (football (soccer), cricket, rugby and F1). I like learning random sentences in different languages and cooking local foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with people through CouchSurfing, Hospitality Club, friends of friends . . . and also lots of people I met when travelling. I love having people to stay when I can, but sadly it's not possible in my house at the moment.

Interests

Making stuff from yarn (knitting, crochet, weaving), making yarn from stuff (spinning - badly). Aimlessly wandering around taking random photos. Despairing at football, cricket and rugby. Talking to people on the tube. Putting things in boxes and/or in alphabetical order.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can (and love to!) teach people how to knit. I can also offer various other crafty things - crochet, sewing & quilting (basic), embroidery, and (if you have a month or so) Guatemalan backstrap loom weaving. (Kind of kidding about that last one.) I can explain cricket. I can teach English (grammar) and German, and a bit of Spanish. Also: how to keep your papers / room / life tidy and organised!
I'd like to learn more languages (random sentences welcome), more yoga and I would like to understand baseball, ice hockey and American football.
