ABOUT ME

Let's just say you'll never meet another one like me. I'm all around goofy, playful, smart, sincere, and ready for anything. My passions in life include traveling, photography, learning (i'm a big nerd), people, and adventure. i also am a bit spiritual, thinking out of the box, naturally thrive for the outdoors and getting in touch with nature. life is too simple to make it complicated.

Finished my third round-the-world stint. Had the best year exploring the depths of South America.... all on my own whilst getting robbed twice, being put in jail once, almost being kidnapped, getting food poisoning three times, but still livin' and missin' it.

Then had a better year and half in SE asia exploring buddhism, climbing the himalayas, meeting the dalai lama, and getting food poisoning only 3 times (but all in china), and half a year in the middle east exploring the religious past of jerusalem, hitchhiking through jordan/egypt, snorkling in sinai, and camel riding across the pyramids.

one short stint back to south america to cruise to antartica... watching penguins flutter on iceburgs, and continuing onto ecuador and columbia.

had been working in alaska for the two summers. serving on a train based in anchorage and traveling to fairbanks and seward. and have NOT seen the northern lights as of yet... booooooo!!!

Continued travels in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Had a fantastic time going in the flow of life, adventures in manifesting, hitchhiking most of the continent, dumpster diving, enlightening hippie festivals, wwoofing, had our rucksacks stolen by aboriginals, stayed in the aboriginal community of Uluru, and meeting the most wonderful people in life.

Spent 2.5yrs in Ireland w the vision of building a self sustainable organic farm/community but found it quite hard w the weather, no sun, cold, and lots of rain. So abandoned ship to Greece, Scotland, and finally to Sweden to participate in a 10 day vipassana meditation course before returning to the states.

ATM I’ve finished my 2nd year tour directing in Alaska, showing guests how great the last frontier can be. Finally caught my northern lights and spent a winter here. Now the plan is to drive through to the lower 48 and from there is a mystery which will unravel as the journey continues...

I am interested in holistic medicine and living w nature as I go w the flow. What's life if you don't live it to the fullest and with passion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

started on my australia, new zealand travels and its been opening a whole new world of doors! A better way to feel and experience a country rather than using a hostel. To see through the eyes of a local is a whole level of traveling I now prefer to connect w the culture, people, and food.

backpacking has been a lifestyle and working a hobby... ive seen a lot and experienced lifetimes of adventures. but what im most proud is backpacking for 2 yr through southeast asia and the middle east. i might be a slacker in life but its the best learning experience to know!
