ABOUT ME

I love adventure and traveling. I try to incorporate this into my life everyday. I find that it is important to live life in a way that benefits more people than just one's own self. I also love biking: road and mountain. I am a documentary filmmaker at the University of Pennsylvania.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the world is becoming a better place because people are beginning to care about more than what happens in their daily lives. I think people are becoming more aware of what is happening in the world. At least that is my hope and mission.

My next upcoming trip is backpacking through Ecuador from Dec 28 to Jan 18. I'd love to meet couchsurfers in Ecuador! When I'm in Philly, I love to host.

I have couchsurfed in Europe, and have hosted surfers at my house here in Philadelphia, USA.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an outdoor adventure show for the Philadelphia Inquirer where I rode a helicopter up to 2000 ft, then the pilot turned off the engine, and did not restart it. He knew a trick where he switched the direction of the rotors just before we hit to cushion the landing so we didn't die.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a professional videographer and web designer. I know a lot of people in the creative fields want someone to help put a website together. I can help you out with this while I stay with you. I also cook good food, and I will do this for you. I can tell good stories of life on the East Coast of the USA in Philly and NYC. If you get me started talking about journalism, you will need to let me know when to stop because I am very passionate about it.
