ABOUT ME

I'm an English teacher, francophile, 6 music listener, cyclist, language learner, swimmer, Everton supporter. I love living aborad and meeting locals. I'm currently back in the UK, studying to be a modern languages teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

"I knew a simple solider boy who grinned through life with empty joy, slept soundly through the lonesome dark and whistled early with the lark. In winter trenches cowed and glum with crumps and lice and lack of rum he put a bullet to his brain and no one heard of him again. You smug faced crowd of kindling eye who watch as solider boys march by, creep home and pray you'll never know the place where youth and laughter go".

I've used Couchsurfing all over France and in NY.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All good. I started hosting in Southern Spain. I'd love to show off the East Midlands to travellers from far and wide.
